9.2.2 Height of Habitable Rooms
UDCPR 2020 as amended to 30.01.2025
The minimum and maximum height of a habitable room shall be given in Table No.9-A hereunder :

star category and above, Institutional, (2.40 m. in case according to the
Educational, Industrial, Hazardous or storage of Air requirement of
occupancies, Departmental Stores, Malls, IT conditioned occupancy.
Buildings, Office Buildings, Exhibition room)
Centre, Convention Hall, Theatre, Film Studio, Entrance Halls and Lobbies to these buildings.

2 Pitched roof-
a) Any habitable room 2.75 (average 4.5 (average with

Provided that the minimum head-way under any beam shall be 2.4 m.
Provided further that height more than that specified above, if required for particular occupancy, shall not be counted towards calculation of FSI.
